Loganair to merge with BMI
Loganair has announced it is to merge with BMI to form a new regional airline group.
Holding company Airline Investments Limited is bringing the two together to form the new group, however, Loganair will continue to operate under its own branding and each company will keep its own separate routes.
Loganair chairman David Harrison said: “This move will strengthen both Loganair and BMI Regional, and each will continue to operate as a distinct brand and business.
“Loganair and its passengers will continue to benefit from the franchise agreement which is in place with Flybe and the code share agreement the company continues to have with British Airways.”
