The NorthLink ferry Hjaltland – which has spent day and night in Kirkwall Bay  – has now berthed alongside Hatston Pier.

The ferry was unable to tie up any earlier due to the adverse weather and tidal conditions, having left Aberdeen yesterday afternoon. The ship has been seen going up and down the bay throughout today, Sunday, until the weather improved and the wind dropped.

Please check the NorthLink website for service updates.
