NHS Orkney unveils ‘fresh values and a new vision’
NHS Orkney has unveiled a “new vision” for the next four years, based on feedback from staff and the community.
A new Corporate Strategy for the health board was approved this Thursday morning.
Highlighting a number of key objectives across healthcare, communication, and financial governance, the document comes after a three-month engagement exercise with both employees and the public at large.
Key priorities highlighted within surveys and feedback sessions included the improvement of access to healthcare and communication. The high quality of both staff and healthcare were highlighted as high points for NHS Orkney, which ought to be maintained.
