Lorraine Pilkington Tait and Alan Bichan are the judges for Saturday’s Bake Off

Cookies, bread, cakes, traybakes or brownies. Whatever your speciality, bring your goodies along to the Great Orcadian Bake Off tomorrow, Saturday.

Sponsored by The Orcadian, the competition, which is part of the Thanks from Emily Campaign, is open to all ages, with three different categories: under 12s, under 18s and 18s and over.

Anyone wishing to take part should bring their baking to the King Street Halls before noon on Saturday. Judging takes place from noon until 2pm and members of the public can sample the baking between 2pm and 4pm, with the winners announced at around 2.30pm.

All proceeds are in aid of the Maggie’s Centre in Aberdeen.
