Open day at the Ness of Brodgar

The excavation site at the Ness of Brodgar is to hold the first of two open days this Sunday.

The event, which runs from 11am to 4pm, will see tours and demonstrations held for visitors, promising Neolithic fun for all the family.

Featuring stonework, woodwork, Neolithic tattoos and pottery, the day will also see the launch of Ola Gorie’s new range of Ness of Brodgar jewellery.

Ola Gorie will also be at the open day to introduce the new collection and inspiration behind it.

The second of the two open days will be held on Sunday, August 21.
