Orkney’s hockey side who lost 5-2 in April’s 2015/16 Scottish District Cup Final to Milne Craig Clydesdale Western Ladies’ 4s.

Orkney’s senior ladies’ hockey side are set to get their 2016/17 Scottish District Cup campaign underway, taking on Edinburgh side Grange 3s this Sunday.

The match, set to be played in Inverness at Bught Park, will see Orkney play in the preliminary stage of a tournament they have an impressive pedigree in.

The two-time winners were defeated in last season’s final by Milne Craig Clydesdale Western Ladies’ 4s, meaning that their fourth Scottish District Cup Final in seven years ended in despair.

Pass-back is set for 12.30pm.
