Orkney swimmers defeated in Shetland

Shetland claimed the victory in today’s Junior Inter-County swimming competition, beating Orkney by 57 points to 37.

This brings the overall points tally to 231-161 in Shetland’s favour, making them strong favourites to retain the Stuart Cup.

The final fixture of the 2011 Junior Inter-County tournament — hockey — is due to take place this afternoon.
