Orkney Rugby Club claimed an emphatic bonus point victory against Morgan Academy this afternoon.

A strong first half showing saw Orkney score and convert seven tries, to put them ahead at the break, 49-5, in the BT Caledonia League Division One clash.

Despite the home team’s dominance in the first period, the second half was a closer affair, with the final score line of 61-15 a true reflection of Orkney outplaying Morgan for most of the match.

After the match, Orkney captain Adam Baird praised the performance of his team, saying that he believed it was an even better performance than last week’s, opening day victory against Mackie Academy.
