Police appeal for information

Police are appealing for information regarding a number of incidents over the past ten days.

  • A Honda CVR car was damaged between 4pm and 6pm on Sunday, January 27, while parked at the crossroads at Junction Road and Tankerness Lane, Kirkwall.
  • Between 5pm on Friday, February 1, and 9:30am the following morning, a planter and two house signs were removed from a house in the Rendall area.
  • Between 5pm and 6pm on Monday, February 4, a silver Rover 25 car was struck by another vehicle in the Pickaquoy Centre car park, Kirkwall.
  • The entrance gate to Maeshowe, in Stenness, was damaged some time between 4:30pm on Friday, February 1 and 11am the following morning.
  • Between 1pm and 1.30pm on Saturday, February 2, a grey Ford Ka car was damaged in the Boots carpark, Junction Road, Kirkwall. The car was parked opposite the side entrance to the Home Hardware Shop.
