Police looking for B&B fraudster

Police are looking to trace a man who failed to pay after staying at a local B&B earlier this week.

A spokesman said they would like to talk to the man, who is described as being around  44 years old, with distinctive, protruding ears, and who may be wearing a red cap.

The man failed to pay for two night’s accommodation and police are urging hoteliers and B&B providers to be aware, so the same thing doesn’t happen again.

Anyone who can help police with their inquiries is asked to contact Kirkwall Police Station on 101.
