Hoy is all set for the three-day mini festival with something for everyone.

The Hoy Hoolie kicks off on the island tonight, Friday, and continues until Sunday. Tonight, the YM Community Hall in Longhope will be hosting a concert with  both local and visiting musicians.

The festivities  continue tomorrow with a kids’ fun day, followed by a dance in the evening, where top folk acts, Dallahan, Dosca and Tom Callister and Adam Rhodes, from the Isle of Man, are due to perform.

The weekend will finish off with a family picnic at Rackwick on Sunday.
