St Magnus commemorations

Two events to commemorate St Magnus are to take place in Birsay this weekend.

The 20th St Magnus Day service is set to be held in St Magnus Church, Birsay, this evening at 7.30pm. The service will include a reading of George Mackay Brown’s —The Real Earl Hakon,  by Jack Norquoy, Member of the Scottish Youth Parliament.

The second event is a Camerata concert on Sunday, also in the St Magnus Church, Birsay. The concert begins at 3pm.
