Talks focus on the art of conservation

Two talks on the Art of Conservation take place in Orkney next week.

The first –  Art and Neolithic Orkney – will be given by Rik Hammond and Antonia Thomas at the Kirkwall Town Hall on Monday, June 9, at 8pm.

The second – Creativity and the Perception of Place in Modern Orkney – will be presented by Morag MacInnes and Tom Muir at the Stromness Town Hall on Tuesday, June 10, at 7.30pm.

Orkney Islands Council is hosting the events in partnership with the Institute of Historic Building Conservation.

Both talks are free of charge and open to all.
