With the covers going back on next week, the Ness of Brodgar is hosting its second, and last, open day of the 2016 season tomorrow, Sunday.

The excavation site will be open to the public from 10am until 4am, with regular tours and activities such as flint-knapping, colour preparation and stoneworking taking place.

Over at the Stenness Hall there will be indoor activities including bone workshops and rope-making.

After eight weeks of excavation, the 2016 dig draws to a close next Friday, August 26.
