Theft from Pole Star Pier

Kirkwall Police would like to hear from anyone with information regarding the disappearance of a marine-grade carabiner from a buoy in Stromness.

The buoy was being stored at the Pole Star pier and, according to police, this is not the first occasion that an item has “gone missing” from this location.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Kirkwall Police Station via 101 or visit the station in person.
