Community buy-out proposals announced for kirk

People in Stromness are being invited to get involved in a project exploring a community buy-out of Stromness Kirk.

The Stromness Kirk Buy Out Group has formed with the objective of trying to purchase the kirk, so it can continue to be available for the local community, following news last year that it was at risk of closure by the Church of Scotland.
