Exclusion zone set up around Scapa Flow wreck

The search is continuing today for the two divers who went missing in Scapa Flow on Tuesday.

Extensive searches took place on land and at sea in Scapa Flow yesterday by Stromness Lifeboat and various Coastguard Rescue Teams. A specialist police dive team were also set to arrive in Orkney yesterday.

OIC Marine Services said that Police Scotland have requested that an exclusion zone of 200 metres should be temporarily established around the wreck site of the German wreck Brummer in order that police investigations are carried out.
