Fire at Ayre Mills in Kirkwall

A fire in the Ayre Mills buildings, in Kirkwall, has resulted in the Ayre Road being closed off by police.

The fire service are currently attending the incident. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus could be seen entering the building, and there are two fire engines at the scene.

A police spokesman said that the fire appears to be under control.
