Forecast impacts internal ferry service

The forecast bad weather has impacted a number of Orkney Ferries sailings today.

The last sailing for Shapinsay will leave Kirkwall at 2.15pm, while the 4pm ferry to Eday and Stronsay has been cancelled.

The mv Graemsay’s last sailing will leave Stromness at 4pm and travel to Graemsay only. There will be no onward sailing to north Hoy.

Finally, the ferry for Sanday will leave Kirkwall at 1.30pm, returning from Sanday at 3.05pm.

Tomorrow’s scheduled sailing to North Ronaldsay has been cancelled.
