Four arrested in sexual offences investigation

Four people have been arrested today in connection with an investigation into historic sexual offences in Orkney.

Police confirmed this afternoon that three men and a woman have been arrested. No charges have been made at this time.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Three men and a woman have been arrested in connection with an investigation into non-recent sexual offending in the Orkney area.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
