“Legal high” survey

A survey focusing on New Psychoactive Substances (NPS) commonly known as “legal highs”, has been launched by Orkney Alcohol and Drug Partnership. (ADP)

According to the service, there is very little information on the use of NPS in Orkney and it is hoped the anonymous survey will give a better understanding of the local knowledge and use of NPS.

The survey’s findings will also be used to gather information to support local service provision for the community and to assist harm reduction campaigns.

Consisting of mainly multiple choice questions, which according to ADP should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete, the survey is open to anyone in Orkney until Friday, December 4, 2015.

The survey can be completed here.

For further information about the survey, for a paper copy, or for information about NPS, email Carrie Rendall, ADP substance misuse development officer: carrie.rendall@nhs.net or ADP coordinator: katiesence@nhs.net.
