Living Orkney on the award shortlist

Living Orkney magazine, published by the Orkney Media Group, has been shortlisted for  another Scottish Magazine Award.

The magazine – printed and published at The Orcadian Printing Works at Hatston – has been shortlisted in the 2013 Small Publishing Company category in the prestigious national awards.

Living Orkney was highly commended in the 2010 and 2011 Scottish Magazine Awards and in 2011 its editor John Ross Scott was shortlisted in the Editor of the Year category and won the chairman’s Prize.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Edinburgh on Thursday, December 12.

The overall winning title, which will take the top accolade of Scottish Magazine of the Year, will be chosen from category winners and announced at the end of the ceremony.
