Local groups encouraged to check out paths scheme

Local groups who want to improve paths in their area are being encouraged to find out more about the Community Paths grant scheme.

Community Paths grants, administered by Paths for All, are individual grants of up to £1,500 for community groups looking to improve, maintain and promote their local community paths.

Funding can be used to:

• Buy tools, insurance and materials.
• Hire a contractor, plant and machinery.
• Install signage and way-markers.
• Produce a leaflet or promotional materials.

Paths for All will also provide support and technical help throughout the process.
