Lucy Spraggan gig announced

Former X Factor contestant Lucy Spraggan is set to perform at new Kirkwall venue, The Sound Archive, this October.

The singer-songwriter, who gained national attention after appearing on the reality television show, has since found success with top 20 single, “Last Night,” and a series of high-charting albums.

Stewart Bain of Grooves, who are set to open their new venue on Laing Street this summer, was pleased to announce that Lucy would be paying a visit to Orkney.

“Her X Factor audition was one of the most memorable moments from the 2012 series,” he said.

“With four albums released since then, she has clearly demonstrated her talent as a composer and performer,” he said.
