OIC to use reserve money for projects to benefit community
A cracker of a cash boost is set to be delivered to the Orkney community, as Orkney Islands Council has backed plans to pump £16.5million from its reserves into projects which have long been on the county’s wish list.
News of the funding was delivered just in time for Christmas, and it is set to target some of the issues closest to constituents’ hearts, according to councillors.
