ORFC face one of the oldest clubs in the world
Orkney RFC are hoping to put their BT Cup defeat to Jed-Forest behind them as they get back into BT National League Division 3 action with a home tie against Glasgow-based side, West of Scotland this afternoon.
Orkney lost 84-25 in the Borders last Saturday but will be hopeful of following up their last league outing, a 26-50 victory away to Livingston. West of Scotland are currently third in the league, two points and two positions ahead of Orkney, having won twice, drawn one and suffering a defeat. The team from Milngavie, just outside Glasgow, have an illustrious history, being one of the oldest clubs in the world having been formed in 1865, and are one of the founding members of the Scottish Rugby Union.
The match is scheduled to kick-off at 2pm at Pickaquoy outfield.
