Orkney folk legends to feature on national radio

One of Orkney’s best-known and best-loved folk bands is set to feature on national radio, this evening, as two members of The Chair join BBC Radio Two’s Mark Radcliffe in conversation.

Fiddle-player Douglas Montgomery and accordionist Bob Gibbon, are scheduled to guest on the The Folk Show, airing at 9pm this Wednesday.

This follows the much-anticipated of The Chair’s new album Orkney Monster, back in December — a welcome addition from the internationally acclaimed folk band.
