Over £400k awarded for community projects across Orkney
Seven organisations in Orkney are to benefit from a new community fund launched by the Scottish Government and targeted specifically at islands.
Enterprises in Hoy, Eday, North Ronaldsay, Sanday and the Mainland are set to receive a collective total of £445,224.05 from the Island Communities Fund.
The funding is designed to support employment, community resilience and health and wellbeing in Scotland’s island groups.
