Popular nature cruise

NorthLink Ferries Orkney Nature Cruise 2019, held on Sunday, was highly popular with over 400 people on board, say the ferry company.

Tickets sold out same week they were launched, and those taking part enjoyed lovely calm weather for the sailing which took people along the West Mainland coast past the Brough of Birsay as far as Costa and the Standard Sea Stack.

Dunnet Bay Distillery (Rock Rose Gin), VS Distillers Ltd (J.Gow Rum), A Frayed Knot and RSPB Orkney were all on board – a great day was had by all and a donation will be made to the RSPB later this year.
