Roadworks planned for Picky Road and Great Western Road

Work to upgrade streetlights in Kirkwall will be carried out by Orkney Islands Council over the next two weekends and will involve one-way systems and lane closures on Great Western Road and Pickaquoy Road. Diversions will be in place.

The Great Western Road between Pickaquoy Road and West Tankerness Lane will be affected this weekend (February 14-15).

Pickaquoy Road between Great Western Road and the Tesco car park entrance will be affected the following weekend (February 21-22).
