Stromness Lifeboat open day takes place on Sunday

The Stromness Lifeboat open day – which has been planned for this coming weekend – is due to take place in Stromness Harbour on Sunday, not Saturday, as previously stated.

It is hoped that lifeboats from Longhope and Thurso will join Stromness Lifeboat in the harbour for the event which is part of the 150th anniversary of the RNLI basing a lifeboat in Stromness.
