Two more days of two-ferry service

Orkney Ferries is to continue with a two vessel operation to the Outer North Isles for a further two days.

According to the company, the ferry Earl Sigurd will be tied on Tuesday and Wednesday this week because of the effects of continuing industrial action.

A contingency timetable has been drawn up to cover two-ferry operation and is available at www.orkneyferries.co.uk

The timetable includes a return sailing to North Ronaldsay tomorrow, Tuesday.
