Bloody Scotland tour hits Orkney
Crime fiction fans in Orkney are in for a real treat this evening as the Bloody Scotland Tour 2013 comes to Kirkwall.
To mark Book Week Scotland, the tour has brought together the cream of Scottish crime writing to travel the country talking about their work.
Appearing in Kirkwall this evening will be Craig Robertson, Gordon Brown and local writers Helen Davis and Paul Harrison.
Kirkwall is by a long way the most northerly stop on the tour, with Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Stirling and St Andrew’s also hosting events.
The event, on between 6.30pm and 7.30pm, is free but you will need to book a place by contacting the library on 873166. The library will stay open until 8pm this evening.
