East Kilbride up next for county’s rugby players
Seventh is due to welcome fifth in the BT National League Division 3 as East Kilbride and Orkney are set to go head-to-head on Saturday afternoon.
A comprehensive and ultimately comfortable 46-5 victory against Livingston last weekend propelled Orkney into fifth place, three points above Perthshire, but, with the islanders holding three games in hand over fourth-placed Haddington, they will be hopeful that a positive result could keep their slim hopes of a fourth-place finish alive.
East Kilbride beat Berwick last weekend and will be hoping to avenge the 27-20 defeat they suffered at the Pickaquoy in November.
The match is scheduled to kick off at noon.
