Kirkwall RNLI marks 50th anniversary

The celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the Kirkwall RNLI got under way this week, with a host of activities planned to mark the occasion.

The lifeboat station and shop have been open for tea and coffee every day this week.

On June 11, there will be an open day at the lifeboat station, providing a chance to meet the crew, see the boat, and much more.
