Police appeal following incidents
Police are appealing to the public to get in touch in relation to various incidents which have taken place throughout Orkney recently.
Police are seeking information in relation to the theft of a cash box containing a large amount of cash from an address in Burray. It is thought that theft took place between Sunday, August 31, and September 5.
Police are also appealing for people to come forward in relation to the theft of a cash box containing a large amount of cash from an address in the Papdale area of Kirkwall. It is thought that the theft took place between 9.30am-11.20am on Friday, September 12.
In other matters, police are seeking information after a Red Ford Ka was damaged whilst it was parked near to Stromness Town House in Victoria Street, Stromness, between 4.25pm – 4.45pm on September 3.
A white Vauxhall Astra was also damaged whilst it was parked near to Kirkwall Pier between 8pm on Friday, September 19, and 9am the following morning.
A woollen hat was stolen from The Longship shop, Broad Street, Kirkwall during the afternoon of Monday, September 15.
